Stainless Steel
Kitchen Sinks
Composite sinks (polycarbonate, plastic or polymer) suffer with deterioration. If you leave a tea bag on a coloured sink over night you will stain it. The only real option is stainless steel for the kitchen sinks as It's easy to clean and easy to look after. You can apply more powerful chemicals to clean it and the look will last for years.
Halogen and LED lighting over kitchen sinks means a well illuminated working plane and you can really make the sinks sparkle as the light emits from a single source unlike fluorescent lighting.
Pop up wastes are popular but let it be known that they do not last for ever. Always buy a good make of sink as it's used every day and some times neglected over night. With the latest sink manufacturing techniques it's easy to find a quality sink supplier with 70/30 steel to nickel ratio sinks. The nickel in the steel makes gives the stainless steel sinks it's stainless properties and this is the right ratio for durability over visual shine. One sink that really shines after years of service is the Stala range.
You can get large bowl sinks like the CB-33 with removable accessories to leave the whole bowl usable, or single bowl and drainers, or bowl and half sink suppliers. The choice is there for you to find the right stainless steel sink for you. I have the CB-33 shown on the left, with the removable drainer and bowl and would never turn back again from Stala - In my opinion, the best sink manufacturer for the money on the market.
